Low Self Esteem
Are you empowering yourself?
Low self esteem – many times you have heard me talk about states, esteem, focus and the mind being your most powerful asset.
“Are you pleased with your present place in the world? If you answered yes, what’s your next port of call? If you answer is no, what are you going to do about?” ~Earl Nightingale
The key is to keep the mind saying and doing the things on the right, and avoid the left in the table below.

The Action Model |
I Can’t
|
I will
|
When I am coaching someone with low self esteem I tell them the word “can’t” stands for: Certainly Are Not Trying.
Just say it again with “I will” instead. Right away – now would be a good time.
Steven Covey has the title of his first book absolutely right “The seven HABITs of highly effective people.” It is too bad so many people focus on the number instead of the word habit. Developing good positive habits is what makes it effective.
Thoughts are not habits, until they are turned into actions at least three times.
Right now – write down:
I will _______________ and be happy doing it because I desire the feeling of accomplishment from the participation/action I will take, and when I get something done on this path I will celebrate it by thanking myself for doing something I wanted to do.
You have just created your next positive affirmation; which you will place with your other affirmations and read out loud everyday. Keeping you pleased with your present place in the world and driving you to your new destinations in life.
